From the Heart Church Ministries of Waldorf is a non-denominational church that is part of\u00a0<\/span>From the Heart Church Ministries Worldwide<\/a>\u00ae<\/span>;\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>a ministry that has been given the mandate to be at the forefront of the reformation of the Church. The church was established in 2002 under the leadership of Dr. John A. Cherry, Founding Episcopal Pastor of From the Heart.<\/span><\/p>\n Our church was founded by Pastor and Mrs. (Reverend Patricia Howie) John H. Howie as Choose Life Church Ministries, Inc. on April 9, 2002, under the authority of Dr. Cherry. As the congregation expanded and needed additional space, the church moved to various locations in Charles County<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In 2012, God directed Pastor Howie to go back to his original instructions and return to his roots and the congregation voted to transfer into From the Heart Church Ministries\u2122 and is now From the Heart Church Ministries of Waldorf, a church that \u201cchooses life.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n On October 30,\u00a02015, Pastor Howie left this earthly realm and began his journey to eternity.\u00a0 We are truly grateful to God for Pastor\u2019s Howie\u2019s commitment to the faith and his care for the membership.<\/span><\/p>\n On November 8, 2015, the Episcopal Pastor assigned Reverend Reuben L. Monmouth, III as the Elder-In-Charge of the Waldorf church, to serve and minister to the congregation until a new pastor would be identified. Reverend Monmouth and his wife, Minister Danielle Monmouth, served the Waldorf church for nearly three years.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n On Sunday, September\u00a09, 2018, Episcopal Pastor John A. Cherry, II appointed Minister Michael White as the Interim Pastor of the church.\u00a0 On March 3, 2019, he was ordained an Elder and formally installed as the Pastor of From the Heart of Waldorf. On March 22, 2020, we began to live stream our Sunday Worship Service via our YouTube channel, thus allowing our members and others to virtually attend our service.
