From the Heart Church Ministries of Waldorf is a non-denominational church that is part of\u00a0<\/span>From the Heart Church Ministries Worldwide<\/a>\u00ae<\/span>;\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>a ministry that has been given the mandate to be at the forefront of the reformation of the Church. The church was established on April 9, 2002 under Dr. John A. Cherry – Founding Episcopal Pastor. It has a fairly equal balance of men and women, married and single, young and old. <\/span><\/p>\n Founded by Pastor John H. Howie and Reverend Patricia W. Howie as Choose Life Church Ministries, Inc. on April 9, 2002, under the authority of Episcopal Pastor John A. Cherry. Weekly Bible Study Services began on July 1, 2002. The\u00a0<\/span>First Sunday Service<\/strong>\u00a0was held on Sunday, January 5, 2003, at the Hampton Inn Hotel in Waldorf, Maryland.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In a year, Choose Life moved to 10579 Middleport Lane in White Plains, Maryland.\u00a0As the church expanded and needed additional space, in 2010 the church moved into its current location at 19 Irongate Drive in Waldorf, Maryland.\u00a0 This expanded facility provides space to minister and\u00a0teach\u00a0the children, well as space for community activities and classes.<\/span><\/p>\n In 2012, God directed Pastor Howie to go back to his original instructions and return to his roots.\u00a0 On June 3rd, 94% of the congregation voted in favor of transferring into From the Heart Church Ministries Worldwide\u2122.\u00a0 Choose Life Church Ministries, Inc. is now From the Heart Church Ministries of Waldorf, a church that \u201cchooses life.\u201d\u00a0From the Heart Church Ministries Worldwide\u2122 (Church History).<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n On October 30,\u00a02015\u00a0Pastor Howie left this earthly realm and began his journey to eternity.\u00a0 We are truly grateful to God for Pastor\u2019s Howie\u2019s commitment to the faith and his care for the membership.\u00a0 The life, love\u00a0and\u00a0legacy of his\u00a0earthy\u00a0ministry\u00a0continues\u00a0through the grace of God by his beautiful wife Reverend Patricia Howie.<\/span><\/p>\n On Sunday, November 8, 2015, Episcopal Pastor John A. Cherry assigned Reverend Reuben L. Monmouth, III as the Elder-In-Charge.\u00a0 In July 2016, the church moved to the Annex at 5055 Allentown Road on the Parent Church\u2019s campus while searching for a new church home.\u00a0 On Sunday, February 26, 2017, we moved into our current church location at 169B Smallwood Village Center in Waldorf, Maryland in an effort to continue to further the Gospel in the Charles County area. Reverend and Minister Monmouth served From the Heart Church Ministries of Waldorf for nearly three years.<\/span><\/p>\n On Sunday, September\u00a09, 2018, Episcopal Pastor John A. Cherry, II appointed me as the Interim Pastor of the church.\u00a0 And on\u00a0Sunday, March 3, 2019, I was Ordained an Elder and formally installed as the Pastor.<\/span><\/p>\n The Waldorf church
