Our Pastor

Pastor Michael White is a native Washingtonian and is a graduate of Hampton University. In 1990, Pastor White married the love of his life Sister Gina White, who he met while they both attended Hampton University. 

In 1994, shortly after accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior then Brother and Sister White joined From the Heart Church Ministries, formerly known as Full Gospel AME Zion Church. 

In 1996, Pastor White received his call to preach, whereby God called him to “go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature”, Mark 16:15.  Shortly thereafter, with the help of his wife and other friends, Pastor White published a monthly newsletter entitled, “Spread The Word”.  In the early 2000’s, Pastor White compiled the newsletters into a book entitled, You Can’t Love God with a Dirty Bathroom, which he self-published. 

As a member of From the Heart Church Ministries (The Parent Church), Pastor White served in the Intercessory Prayer, Bookstore, New Converts, Nursery, Membership Care and Men’s Fellowship Ministries. 

In July 2012, Pastor White preached his initial sermon and received ministerial license in September 2012. Six year later, in September 2018, Pastor and Sister White were assigned to shepherd the flock at From the Heart Church Ministries of Waldorf.  The church continues to flourish under their leadership. 

Pastor and Sister White are the proud parents of two brilliant, beautiful, and blessed children, Brandyn (daughter) and Brian (son). 

Mark Twain is quoted as saying, “biographies are but the clothes and buttons of the man. The biography of the man himself cannot be written.” Pastor White believes that a person should not be measured by the number of words in their bio, but by the unseen and undocumented endeavors to serve his or her race…the human race.
